Dg517 ist ein Didgeridoo meines Modells 049 gestimmt in D2, mit dem Overblow auf der Oktave D3. Alle Overblows liegen sehr nahe an den geplanten berechneten Tonhöhen. Der sehr stabile und leicht zu spielende Grundton hat einen sehr effektiven Resonanzwiderstand. Der erste Overblow liegt trotz der schmalen Konusform auf der Oktave. Die Form erzeugt einen nicht so stark dröhnenden Grundton, der sich gut mit Stimmeffekten modulieren lässt und dadurch auch Mikrophone nicht leicht übersteuert. Die Oberflächenschicht ist mit gelbem Ocker gefärbt und die untere Hälfte ist mit einer Umbra gefärbten Manschette überlegt in welche mit Sgraffito Technik spiralig angeordnete Schriftzeichen freigelegt sind. Es handelt sich um eine Segmentschrift welche ich mit 12 Jahren entwickelt habe und mit leichten Änderungen und Erweiterungen bis heute verwende. Der Text thematisiert in Englischer Sprache einen Wunsch nach besserem Umgang mit der Natur, für eine bessere Zukunft unserer Kinder. Die Oberfläche ist gebürstet, innen ist das Didgeridoo mit wasserfestem Adler Legnopur und außen mit monomerem Adler Soloplast Zelluloselack lackiert. Grundton, Ziehbereiche und Overblows bei 24grd
C: Dg517 is a didgeridoo of my model 049, tuned to D2, with the overblow on the octave D3. All overblows are very close to the planned, calculated pitches. The very stable and easily playable fundamental tone has very effective resonance resistance. Despite the narrow cone shape, the first overblow is on the octave. The shape produces a calmer, less booming fundamental tone that can be easily modulated with voice effects and therefore also microphones are not so easily overloaded. This is a segmented typeface that I developed when I was 12 years old and, with slight modifications and additions, still use today. The text, in English, expresses a desire for a better relationship with nature for a better future for our children. The surface is brushed, the inside of the didgeridoo is coated with waterproof Adler Legnopur, and the outside with monomeric Adler Soloplast cellulose varnish.
